Calueuche will board you, its captain will stabbity stab you, you`ll lose consciousness and will come to on the beach of Dominica, with your ship sunk.
So better replay that last part of dash to Dominic with something disposable. But better if with sizeable crew - else you will be overwhelmed in boarding action and die, never gotten to captain.
But I die. The game sends me to the main menu and I have to start all over.
If you get sunk or get killed by the nameless rabble in the deck fight - you die for good.
TL;DR: Git gud!
So if I understood you correctly I have to die by the hands of the captain?
What about my money, chest and officers? Do I lose them all?
You dont lose none of the mentioned. Just ship and the crew.
I am currently on level 19. And this is impossible. All the evil spirits have 230+ health. They also have guns and health potions. I go for the door. But there are too many of them. In the end they get in.
I mean I am not getting even close to killing them all and going for 1 on 1 with Captain.
P. S: For any new guys reading this. Don't waste your time with Fadey's dagger. It will hurt them for 2-3 health.
So having a sizeable ship helps to even the odds.
Usual stuff, like having proper skillset for personal combat applies too.
I always set a goal of getting Proffessional Fencer ASAP. By that point you have well-leveled weapon skills, gear and this combat system reflexes burned into your brain...
Also, it makes certain level of sense to at least finish this quest after returning from Island of Lost Ships. Here is a cornerstone for you, I guess.
I will wait with this quest for now.
I owe you all drink in the tavern and 200 gold doublons! :)
