OK so i found a copy of the above installed and works starts fine but it is only in Russian language?! :(

not sure if language can be change in the menus!

anybody know how? or is there a special English only version?

in your STEAM games library go to the game title with the mouse pointer and right-click, select properties, now go to the language and put the English.
Now you will download 400 Mb and the game will be in English

Hmmmm AOP2/COAS is not a steam game. My copy is english only. Your copy may have had a language choice at the beginning of installation.
