Steam Deck already has Steam for linux client preinstalled so you do not need to install Steam Link app to Steam Deck as Steam Link Anywhere also works from Steam client to Steam client.
EDIT: Steam Link Anywhere really uses Steam Remote Play (not to be confused with Steam Remote Play Together).

Point is Steam In Home Streaming had official support for remote streaming added about two years ago. So Steam streaming is no longer called Steam In Home Streaming.
We could also use Chrome browser to access GeForce Now or Edge browser for Xcloud to stream Steam and non Steam games on Steam Deck using third party cloud gaming services.
