And it's a remaster, not a remake, who is to say they actually made any changes on the technical level? It could be the exact same game with a fresh coat of paint. Now as I said I would be shocked if it didn't, but it's not completely out of the realm of possibility.
This isn't just a case of them making some higher resolution textures and new models. They're porting the entire rendering system over to Unreal and likely a lot of the other base gameplay systems as well, like input.
That's what you assume, but I have some lazy ports before, we won't know the exact quality until it's released.
Never heard of that, but there are ways to play with a controller, what we are talking about it native support.
Are you try to use the in-game controller support? Because it doesn't work.
The best option for controller users is Nothern UI:
If you don't want the UI changes and just controller support, you need Northern UI Away. It's an alternate download on the same files page.
Seems like it is NORTHERN UI and the link is as suggested:

If the link is flagged by Steam you have to consider that Nexusmods is not normally considered dangerous, that's weird, but probably modding sites are not normally liked by Steam, dunno. I'll add Terran Ghost's suggestion to another thread.
