Are you trollin or do you have a reason? I have this argument with a friend all the time, he loves this bland place for some reason. It's just bits of medieval Italy/Germany, Vvardenfel was weird and original and fantasy with netch leather, sujamma and the ashlands... N'wah. These games also get more simplified each time :(

It makes alot of sense though. The landscape is fitting for the heart of the Empire. Look at the Shivering Isles DLC for example. It was super alien and weird because it's Sheogorath's realm. I agree that the landscape was bland but the characters and quests were far superior (excluding the main quest) We probably won't get another landscape like Vvardenfell until they do a game in Akavir and bring back the Nerevarine and the Champion of Cyrodil (its canon in the lore that they're on Akavir together during Skyrim)

Good point's. I just hope the next one isn't so simplified all you have to do is click once to end the game and save Tamriel. That definitely wouldn't be fun or enjoyable.

i would have to agree, the thick fog, lack of physics and hit miss combat really hurt morrowind imo, besides that the lack of voice acting makes it a chore 2 play, more of a role playing story than a game.

nobody who played morrowind on xbox thinks its the best tes game, nobody who played on pc either other than the modders, u legit cant find a video on morrowind that isnt running hundreds of mods and a nostalgic narration. all oblivion needs is a 360 and the lafave bros.

Lol wut. Oblivion is the worst of the 3 modern games imo, and needs the most mods to play. I literally replay morrowind every few months with just some bug fix mods and otherwise vanilla. I cannot play oblivion without a ♥♥♥♥ load of mods, otherwise I turn it off after 20 minutes and don't touch it again for another 3 years.

It is better in a lot of ways.
I think Morrowind pales in comparison and feels like a failure when examined side by side.

Though, there's like one or two things Morrowind did better.
