The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Who Offers the Most Money for Armor
I have a daedric artifact Pyrite gave me. I do not want it and it is supposedly valued at 16500 gold pieces. Since dealers only offer their max amount which varies between dealers I was hoping to find someone who offered more than 1200 gold pieces. The item is a heavy armored shield. I do not know why they value something so much since from what I can see you cannot get anywhere near that value.

In the unmodded game I sold to Jensine in the Market District more than any other trader but I don't think her available gold was more than 1200. Since installing the Trade and Commerce mod which gives you your own shop I take everything there but not anything more with a value of 5000+ because I think that's the limit for the mod. This can probably be changed with the mods .ini which you can also use to alter the sell values.

There are probably other mods which increase trader purses so you can get closer to the full value but I would prefer to keep it. Put it on display as it sounds like a noteworthy piece.
I am already kind of pissed after killing the King of Worms I put some of his stuff including his staff and robe in the chest at the end of the Arch Mages bed. I wanted to keep them as a trophy. I came back later and they had disappeared but the original contents were still there. This is suppose to be my living quarters.
I haven't found anyone willing to pay more than 1200.
I'd keep it, but I think Fathis Ules (thieves guild fence) has a lot of money.
I already sold it for 1200. I have no use for heavy armor.

This mod is worth installing because of how small and useful it is. It gives you a spell that you can cast on a container and it will tell you if it's safe storage or not. It's very reliable and you can trust what it tells you 100%.

All storage containers that appear in houses you buy are always safe so you don't need to check them but in places like guilds most storage containers will be part of the 72 hour reset rule which means every three days the contents is reset to something else. If you have placed something in there and don't retrieve it in time it can be lost forever and it's impossible to know when the reset will strike so they are to be avoided at all costs.

The Imperial Furniture Mod comes in handy because you can use it to place safe storage chests anywhere you like including in guild buildings. No other NPC will ever be able to access it and it will never reset so everything you buy from the shop is safe to use for your most valued possessions. There are also much more than chests for sale.
