Did you play it before this patch i read some post saying this last patch is the one that mest up how the game just to look.and it makes sence kuz demo was the original version idk idc il play ect but still kinda mest up how they mest up a game by updating it lol

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams - Version 1.1.2

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams - Version 1.0.2 (DRM-Free)

Despite loosing some quality due to Steam, see if you can tell the difference between the two versions anyway. I can already tell that 1.0.2 is clearer.
Your 1.1.2 screenshot shows that there is some kind of smoothing effect active, notable at edges but in the 1.0.2 screenshot it's not present so the later appears clearer.
Such smoothing effects can be caused by quick'n'dirty antialias features like nVidia FXAA. Make sure inside your gfx driver that any such features and other "optimiziation" stuff is disabled!
Due to this my 1.1.2 looks exactly like your 1.0.2:

Any difference left might be caused by different resolutions. Mine is 1920x1080 while yours is 1920x1152.
Back to teh subject idc anymore like i said before il just play as is im just disapointed to see devs like this that give up on there own game insted of releasing a halloween special release a fix a rollback something
So really the game has FXAA enabled regardless of Nvidia Profile Settings and what is set in the Launcher.
And no, your 1.1.2 screenshot does NOT look exactly like the 1.0.2 screenshot.
My resolution is also NOT 1920x1152, it's 2560x1440
... Yeah, "FXAA= Disallowed" for everything and 1.1.2 still doesn't look right.
Now while i disabled FXAA globaly and do not use profiles at all i allow any application the use of their regular antialias settings IF they offer AA. Maybe this makes the difference?
You're right about the point that i missed Steam resizing your screenshots for me and me failing to note it first. Yet according to a note at the top of the image when shown fullscreen after the resizes are made from 2048x1152 to 1920x1152. That the original is in fact 2560x1440 Steam does not tell when you click the picture. One needs to follow the link given with the picture to get to it or via your profile for the original, otherwise the Steam client interferes .. grrr ..
If i could run the game in 2560x1440 i would try and check further but my display does not support such resolutions.
If you can't get the end result to look like what you're playing, you're either doing it wrong or have a cheap-ish video card.
I have the game in my inventory, I'll check the demo out later today, then I'll install the full game and see if your claims are right.
I doubt it.
