How to beat the boss from stage 1?

seriously those worm is gonna give me a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stroke because of the stress. i can only hit her two times. i use the spike on her, then she turn into a donut and go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, my method is to go in the extrem left or right of the screen and then crouch, but sometimes works and most of the times dont. whats ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me up in this fighting is her donut mode, its so anoying. i tough this game would be like a ride in the park but its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hardcore. damn. stage 1-5 and 1-6 was so hard.

ok, now i know how to deal with donut mode. the problem is the falling rocks now and the timing of the spike. this falling rocks dont have a pattern. i stand in the middle then fall one rock, two rocks, i run and then go two rocks in the direction im running, and giana have to slip on the ground before turn to the other side, and then i take a hit. seriously im almost using cheat engine in that ♥♥♥♥ fight, is so unfair.

nah, already cheat it(this boss only). used unlimited shields. i have dozens of games to play, i will not waste time in a bad designed boss fight. i will try my best without cheat to beat world 2. if the boss from world 2 is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ again. well..
