how to change birthsign without ruining my spell list
I dont wanna lose my spell list and im regretting picking the mage sign after finding out my level 1 orc spellblade has more magicka than my argonian wizard. I dont wanna ruin my spell list with enablebirthmenu though.

Find the ID's of the birthsign abilities, add them and remove the other.

No, that could reset spells.

No, that could reset spells.
so - just add the spells again
e.g. - with the Console

Or instead of losing all their spells, including customs, they can just add the one they want.

Why wouldn't you want your orc spellblade to have more magicka? Just grab an enchantment that adds int to your lizard.
Its just annoying running out of magicka and then playing a character that wouldnt have that problem even if spells were her main form of dealing damage

Ie my wizard who ive grown pretty attached too just feels weak

It won't change what the stat page says your sign is. It's giving you the effects that choosing that sign would've given you.

If you want the The Atronach for example (Spell Absorption 50pts, Fortify Max Magicka 2xIntelligence, Stunted Magicka) you open console and type:
player->addspell "wombburn"

Press enter and you should see it appear on the top bar of your spell menu.

Its still not appearing, no magicka increase, no stat changes, nothing

If it's not appearing, you're typing it wrong.

Alternatively, if you just want to increase magicka;

player->setmagicka 300

Or whatever number. It won't persist through saves though, so you'd have to redo it each time you load.
