You probably need a faster USB port,stick and I am not sure if Morrowind needs a registry entry. So even then it might not work.
What you could also try is getting the CD version, making ISO files of the discs, put them onto a USB stick,, copy the game files onto the USB device. Mount the ISO File and then run the game exe from the USB. Tricks the older CD DRM in some games.
I believe newer versions of Windows can use ISO files without any special software.
actually no-cd cracks and the request of the knowledge of one are perfectly legal so long as you've bought the game it's a lot like using an emulator for mario 64 because you want to keep your mint condition copy as such.
Too complicated of a process, also Involves buying a physical copy, I don't know where I would get one even if they were available at gamestop or something it would be hard to find because STEAM has almost monopolized computer gaming access to where anyone selling the cd is just blowing steam(not STEAM) out their ass
