Open Morrowind
Morrowind code Patch
Morrowind Rebirth
Morrowind Graphics Extender XE
Personally I want a close to original experience. More up-to-date graphics, less bugs and glitches and maybe some nice to haves which don't effect the gameplay too much.
Any recommendations to the above, or personal?
join morrowind modding community on discord if you like. I really enjoyed the guide to setup everything up that is needed to mod morrowind as well as installing neccesary mods 1st.

MCP fixes or improves a bunch of things, pretty neat.
Haven't used OAAB but from what i've seen it looks pretty good, and the other 3 mods add parts of other provinces (or mainland Morrowind, in case of TR) and are based on the old lore, tho right now P:C only adds Stirk with Anvil/Gold Coast coming hopefully this year.
Also for minor mods:
https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/45619 - Rebalances medium armors
https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/3882 - All Bethesda-made mods for Morrowind. I'm only using Entertainers (in case i wanna rp as a bard) and Firemoth (mostly cuz i think it's mentioned in TR) tho you might find there some other mods you'd like
https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/47588 - Fixes Bethesda's oversight
https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42940 - Adds a shield to the royal guard armor set. I'd also change it's armor rating so it fits with the medium armor rebalance mod
https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/47213 - Adds more heads and hairs
Jeeeeej :)
For example I might install ROHT (Rise of House Telvanni) for next playthrough but also want some of these mods listed to make the entire world more immersive.
The list was updated this month.

This was very helpful and my game looks a lot better without hours of modding.
