I have seen this claim before, but this has never worked for me. Perhaps it's because I use tons of mods.
This will open the folder where all the Morrowind saved games are listed.
Find the name of the saved game you wish to delete, highlight the file, then press the Delete button on the keyboard.
Doesnt work for saves? Or to delete spells? Have you rebound the shift key?
I'm only talking about saves. Spells can be removed this way.
File explorer can also be used to delete save files. Right click and select delete as in this picture: https://i.imgur.com/gW3YKnk.png
- Open save game, (while in game at the point you want to save), go to one of the saves you want to replace and rename, backspace, rename and voila.
I preferred not to turn off the cloud sync so this was the next option.
It still looks messy at first but depending on the number of saves you make over the course of your character(s) you can eventually remove all the old saves, replace them with your new ones and the new names.
Hope that helps :3.
Edit: I just realised this was an old post. But it is a common question I see for Morrowind on Steam.
