If any devs are reading this. Can you add an toggle in the options to remove the jumpscares in "Don't Make a Sound"

Like, replace it with the falling in a pit screen but still keep the level gimmick. I hate jumpscares as they trigger a panic attack to me. Even knowing full well that "Don't Make a Sound" is a FNAF themed level and I was expecting some form of jumpscare, (that I hoped to avoid) I still got a panic attack from encountering it. Please change this as I can't play this level if I run into Jumpscares and I can't beat the game otherwise.

I'm probably going to pick up the game at some point, but this is the one thing making hesitate. I love Wario Land and this game's art style, but the minor screamer bits make me anxious. Call me a wuss if you want, it won't really change this is the one thing holding me back from buying. Fingers crossed that at least a mod will come along for this.

just mute the game and put your playlist while playing the level in question, i guess that should fix it, jumpscares are just loud noises that try and get a reaction from your human reflexes anyway, i doubt you could be afraid of the level if you do that

Jumpscares in the level aren’t even that loud, and the images look goofy anyway.
Plus you know they’re coming before they happen.

They're pretty weak jumpscares to begin with but somehow they still stress me out. At least I found a rare funny version where instead of the standard "ooh I'm a spooky monster" one instead they took Peppino to Octoberfest.

Yeah I might just have to mute that specific level. I know I come off as really sensitive to this stuff, it's just a legitimate issue for me. I know this this super minor thing to get hung up about; I really wish it didn't bother me.

Yeah, just turn the volume off and in enjoy that awesome level. No shame in it, some people are just jumpier than others.

At the very least make repeat visits drop them so we don't have to deal with them when trying to get everything

Now that I've seen them I honestly don't feel like the jumpscares really add anything to the level. They just kind of make me groan, especially knowing that they're preventing some people from enjoying the level altogether.

If Trombone Champ added a setting to turn off their (much tamer) jumpscare, Pizza Tower can, too.

I don't understand why developers of some indie games add jumpcares either. I thought we were over that ♥♥♥♥ after 2011 but I guess not. yes, they are weak jumpscares admittedly but I don't care. like there's a few games like hell pie that I'm hessitent on buying because that dev's older games had a STRONG jumpscare in it. granted you had to go out of your way for it but I'm a really jumpy person dude, I was on youtube in 2009 and i watched a mario 64 video and it had a jumpscare at the end, ♥♥♥♥ made me cry and it scarred me.

atleast have an option to turn jumpscares on and off in the options, y'now? cause I get people LIKE them for some reason but people like me HATE them.

jumpscares being in the game is one negative i'd have against it. It doesnt do anything other than startle the player so whys it there? figured the 4chan roots were buried by this point

you say replace the jumpscare screens with the pit fall screens but are they not essentially the same thing? you fall down a pit and a screen pops up, you touch a monster and a screen pops up, by your logic if the dont make a sound screens are jumpscares the pit falls are jumpscares
