I've never had an issue like this before and I use Steam to launch all my games, including Ubisoft and Origin titles. You can launch any program, even Notepad, through Steam if you like. Hoping you just need a reboot.
That's the stupidest thing I've seen on the internet today, and I scrolled through Reddit earlier.
That's like asking, "Name 1 game Ubisoft Connect makes???" LOL.
RMJ's been on PC's since 1978, but doesn't know how to use the Edit button on the Discussions. Instead, he has to spam the forums with his multiple logorrhea posts. So funny.
Lol, what? I didn't ask about Ubi. I asked about Ubisoft Connect. And you're wrong about Farcry being the first game. Farcry came out in 2004. I remember playing the original Ghost Recon back in 2001 from Ubisoft. I remember playing Rainbow 6 in 1998 or 1999. Also from Ubisoft Rayman (from Ubisoft) came out in the mid 90s.
(Edit: Ubisoft wasn't the dev/publisher for the original R6. They didn't get involved until Rogue Spear. My mistake.)
Ubisoft was founded in the mid 80s and their first game was around that time.
But all of that doesn't answer the question: what games does Ubisoft Connect make?
The answer is none. Just like Steam is only a service that doesn't make games, but its parent company Valve does make games (Half-Life, Portal, etc.). Ubisoft Connect is only a service that doesn't make games, but its parent company Ubisoft does.
For someone who likes to brag about how long you've been playing games and how you've deleted more games than everyone else has played, this is absolutely hilarious.
And for further hilarity, I see you've deleted another of your posts. I couldn't make up this stuff.
I have the same issue with Ubisoft. I raised a ticket, but they're not responding at all :(
Right click on game icon, select Properties --> Installed Files --> Verify integrity of game files
Wishing you the best.
I even reached out to Steam support, and they confirmed that everything was fine on their end—which made sense, since I still had the game in my Steam library. The problem was entirely on Ubisoft's side.
Long story short, Ubisoft deleted the game from my account and refused to take responsibility. What a joke of a company.
The only silver lining is that, even though I had surpassed the two-hour refund limit, Steam went above and beyond to refund the game.
After this experience, I’m done with Ubisoft. I won’t buy anything from them again.
