Hey there Kermit,
It could be that the AV might be blocking a certain file from either the launcher or the game and conflicts with it when launching it.
I would suggest closing Ubisoft Connect completely from the Taskmanager and make sure that the launcher and the game are whitelisted within your Antivirus / Firewall, to avoid any conflicts when the client is trying to connect to the servers or launching the game:
Add an exclusion to Windows Security
-Select Start, then open Settings, under Privacy & security, select Virus & threat protection
Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings, and then under Exclusions, -Select Add or remove exclusions
-Add exclusions for both Ubisoft Connect and Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
