Game stutters at near perfect intervals DX11
So I just bought the game recently and cannot seem to fix a consistent stutter/frame drop that happens ever second or two.
I have been trouble shooting but nothing makes a difference in relation to the stuttering. Firstly Vulkan just runs horribly so I don't bother with it and DX11 just has ~5fps dips in the same consistent pattern.
I feel like I've gone through every forum post out there with the same issue.
I've tried windows compatibility settings, lowering my resolution so I get 150+ FPS with a 120 FPS foreground limit, turning random setting off and then back on again, disabling Ubisoft's in-game overlay.
Also, of course I checked the obvious stuff too like Vram usage (1/2 of max), my cpu doesn't even need to try 90% of the time because it's under 5% usage MAX so that's out of the question, my graphics drivers are up to date, and I of course validated my game files.
The game looks great, it's just this stutter annoys me to hell and back.

My Specs:
Ryzen 7 7700X
32gb of DDR5 7200 speed Ram
RTX 3070Ti
The game is also running off a Samsung 980 PRO M.2 Drive
I am also on Windows 11 (Yeah, I know, it sucks)

Hello Anemay.

Sorry to hear your game is behaving this way.

Do you have any other 3rd party overlays running in the background?
Nvidia GeForce Experience? Overwolf?

Disable all 3rd party unnecessary software in the background.

Make sure you upgrade not only your graphics card drivers but also check for ALL available updates to your motherboard.

Disconnect any additional USB devices, other than mouse and keyboard for testing purposes (any USB hubs, headsets etc).

Make sure you are not on an Insider Preview of Windows 11. These are beta versions and may not be stable.

Let us know if any of it helped.

What a joke that every solution to every problem for Ubi seems to be "Turn your PC into a dedicated Ubisoft gaming machine."

People use overlays for a reason. There is a lot of functionality that is unavailable without them. When we play dozens of games with overlays, then one game has issues, the issues is *with that game*, not with the overlay.

Fix your game.

Hey Blackhawk,

Thanks for the constructive feedback.
These are general troubleshooting steps to find what is causing an issue.
Once we know what is causing it, we can update the appropriate team to look into potential fixes for the future.
I'm sure this is exactly what you had on your mind.
