Game looks like running on low setting/resolution or in DLSS and with low textures even on Ultra 1080p graphics.
On my first time playing this game everything looked beautiful and detailed. When I played the game for consecutive time after 6 hours or so everything started looking like being set at low resolution, with fuzzy and blurry textures. Shadows and ambient occlusion seems minimal, terrain and trees and grass looks ugly like as if it is running with DLSS even though everything is on Ultra setting at 1080p native resolution. This game doesn't even have any setting to turn on or off DLSS or any similar downscaling option, still I don't understand why everything looks bad. I recently purchased the game and have only played 6-8 hours. I hadn't encountered this issue in wildlands. I am running it on i7 9750h, 1660ti and 16GB of RAM with a Nvme SSD. GPU driver is Nvidia Game ready driver 536.23 released on 14 June 2023. I have tried everything. Reinstalled the game thrice, reinstalled GPU driver twice after wiping out old drivers entirely, Cleared shader cache for GPU, deleted graphics configuration file of the game, deleted local save game folder and deleted save game in the game even Reset the PC and reinstalled the game again via Steam only to find the same thing is happening again again. Two of my friends who are playing co op with me, aren't having this issue. Their graphics in game looks crisp. Kindly help. I have attached few pictures. Kindly help if anyone has ever experienced this.

Hey Quantumquark

The resolution can't be changed if the highest aspect ratio is used.

Please also ensure you are using the same resolution on all monitors, and that the monitors themselves are not of a different format.
(For example, using widescreen paired with a regular display)

You can also try to follow the steps in this article[www.ubisoft.com]

In the meantime, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask and we will do our best to help you !
