The workaround is there in the forum already there are 3 ways you can do it
The first one
1. Right Click on your game
2. Go to Properties
3. Set Launch Options...
4. Enter this command below
"FULL PATH TO GAME.EXE" %command%
E.g. "G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ghost Recon Breakpoint\GRB.exe" %command%
The second one
1. Rename "GRB_Vulkan.exe" to "GRB_vulkan.exe.old"
2. Rename "GRB.exe" to "GRB_Vulkan.exe"
This should fool steam into using DX11 instead of Vulkan.
and the third one
is using a third party app called Steamedit, which you can found in google.
Thanks for sharing these workarounds !
The thread has been moved to the Player Support section, to bring it the best possible visibility.
I've taken note of the steps shared, including the third-party app, for which I advise to exercise caution when downloading, as we cannot provide support for it.
Fruit Man, Dralora, don't hesitate to let us know if the problem persist after checking the launch options of the game / renaming the exe, or if there's anything else we can help you with !

First option has worked perfectly so far. Haven't experienced a crash yet since doing it. Thank you so much!!
Sorry to hear you're still encountering this issue.
To clarify, did you manage to try out the suggested steps by Clerericus at all?
If these don't work on Windows 11 you could also try to use these on Windows 10.
Additionally, I can suggest trying out our general technical troubleshooting guide [www.ubisoft.com] to see if these might help.
Let me know any updates!

I've only just managed to fix mine by capping my fps to 85 hope this helps anyone
I start the game via steam (which lets the player choose between vulkan/Dx11). Game randomly freezes for a few seconds while playing and then crash to windows desktop.
hardware info:
AMD Ryzen 5-3600 / 32GB RAM / Nvidia RTX 3070
Troubleshooting and testing applied to apps/game:
-disabled/enabled Nvidia in-game overlay.
-disabled/enabled ubiplay in-game overlay.
-disabled/enbaled Steam in-game overlay.
-Updated to latest dirver video.
-managed startup applications to minium.
-uninstalled Symantec Antivirus.
-launched the game on Vulkan mode.
-launched the game on DX11 mode.
-Set GRB.exe to "High priority" on running window process.
(avoiding this priority manual change, makes the game go randomly super low on frames Per second)
-verified integrity of files on steam
Any Ubisoft tech support here, thank you in advance for any help you could give me.
