You can't. The best you can do is adding it as non steam game to show at your status.

I've taken note of your question regarding activating the game on Steam if you already have it via Ubisoft Connect.

The thread has been moved to the Player Support section, to bring it the best possible visibility.

As BlueLightning and breadman mentioned (thanks for contributing by the way !), the Ubisoft Connect copy of Ghost Recon Breakpoint does not give access to the Steam version.

If you'd like to launch it via Steam, you can add it as a non-Steam game to your library, in order to launch it from there.

Can we get a discount at least? I dislike Uplay very much and would love to have it launched through Steam (I know that Uplay opens in the background regardless, is like they can't take a hint) but I refuse to pay twice for the same game. Since it opens Uplay anyways, I know it will use my account and I will have my characters there when I launch the Steam version, so since I will not be getting a clean fresh copy of the game, we surely aren't expected to pay full price for the same game again, correct?

And thank you for understanding namvfpx, sorry we couldn't bring you better news.

Regretfully, we cannot offer you any kind of discount or compensation in this case.

As these versions of the game exist on two separate platforms, (even if they require the Ubisoft Connect launcher to play), you will need to own them on their respective platforms in order to play them there.

I understand not wanting to purchase the game twice.
If you do want to wait for a possible discount for the game in future on Steam, that's totally understandable.
