Game ran fine the days prior.
I understand the hate this POS is getting now...
Sorry to see that you encountered this issue in game.
As some time has passed, can I check if this issue persists for you?
Many thanks,
- Ubisoft Support
To say it's frustrating is a huge understatement. Why the H can't I access the game that I bought, and devs presumably did nothing to prevent this from happenning altogether?
Other (online-auth required) UBI games work just fine (TD1, WD2), but Breakpoint just had to differ (in a bad way), I suppose.
UPD: No, I don't own it on Steam, and I won't. UBI owes me my copy of the game to appear in my Steam library, really. Because Steam version launches it through the Ubisoft Connect anyways, and I own it there in my library.
I'm sorry that the issue persists.
When you get disconnected, do you also get an error code? If you do, please share it with us, so we can investigate the issue further.
Also, could you please do a quick test? Try to switch your DNS to Google DNS.
You can find an extensive guide on how to do it here[developers.google.com]
Please let us know if the issue persists.
Should you need additional information, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us again.
Thank you very much.

UPD: So, after I deleted a certain VPN service (not just 'stopped' it [1], or renamed the file to stop it from starting [2] - deleted it altogether) the game let me in the main menu, and now it's working. Funny thing is that previously when I tried [1] or [2] the game wouldn't even start - it wouldn't let me to the title screen either. Now I don't even know if installing ANY VPN service might cause the game to stop working properly again, because if so - then it's a super dumb decision, really. There are tons of reasons why a person might need a VPN service installed, and if the game conflicts with it - it's this game's problem, and not a VPN service/user problem.
Thanks for the update !
If the problem did not persist after uninstalling a VPN service, this can mean that there was a potential software conflict with the game connectivity, as VPNs on PC often install / create virtual network adapters.
I've also taken note of your feedback regarding playing the game while a VPN is installed.
Feel free to reach out if you have questions, or if there's anything else we can help you with !
