Trial version on Uplay, now have I to install it again?

I tried the trial version (6 hours of freeplay) on Uplay, and decided to buy the game on Steam. Now am I forced to uninstall the game on Uplay and redownload it on Steam? I would like to avoid downloading it again, also because my connection is a bit slow.
What can i do (if i can)?

Haven't tested this but technicallly just drop the uplay game into your steam library:
"Steam Library\steamapps\common\Ghost Recon Breakpoint"

After doing that if you go to steam and press install/repair it should verify and just download the files you are missing.
