Will I lose my weapon skin if I lose the gun in immersive?

I just start the game. I saw a tac 50 skin so cool, but still dont have blueprints. If I buy the weapon skin, and then lose my gun, will I lose forever my gun and cannot get m weapon with weapon skin back? Also if I buy the weapon skin, do I still need to find the blueprints?

Are the weapon skins that I use real money to buy are weapon specific or gun specific? If I lose the gun, I can still buy another one from maria and then use the skin again?

1 more questions, how to get mk23 blueprints for the echeleon one? This one is really cool and I want to buy it, but I am afraid the gun will be lost when I don't have the blueprints.

I am talking about the weapon skin that can be bought in the ubisoft store, not the weapon paint in the gun customization page. It is just around 6 bucks for the wolf skin of tac 50 that I like. So I dont mind to pay for that if i can use it for my whole gameplay that will cost me hours. But if it will lose forever when I lost my gun, I wont pay for it. So if I want to keep the gun skin and the mk upgrade, I first need to get the tac 50 blueprints? but because I bought the ultimate edition, and I already has some weapon skin in the inventory. It just looks like a blueprint to me as it has the blue background, the blue dot and it says it is blueprint, so I am getting confused on that. Do I need both the weapon skin blueprints and the original blueprint to keep the gun?

All the videos I watched online are confusing me. btw thank you so much for the suggestions.

If you buy a gun in the store it is available all the time from all you save slots.

I just used a weapon skin to try. I am in immersive mode. I equip a mp5 (the division skin), run to wild, go do a mission, switch my gun with a new one. I don't have mp5 blueprints. this is a new account. After switching, in case, so i went to do another mission again. I went back to the camp and I can still equip the mp5 again, with my mk upgrades here.

So, result tested. Those weapon skin that you can buy in the ubi store with ghost coins, are another blueprints from the original gun. You upgrade it, it wont keep at the original gun blueprints as it works as another blueprints. 1 weapon skin 1 blueprint. If you also lose the weapon skin in the wild, or switching it and throwing it away in the wild, you can still equip it back at your camp, with all the mk upgrades still here, but the attachments need to equip again by yourself, they are all reset. Those blueprints works as a variant like blueprints, like m4a1 and m4a1 sct. The blueprints are different.

yep, they do nothing, but you can see that you are having 2 guns or 1 (according to your settings) at your back when you are travelling in the whole map. It is already better than those first person shooting game which sells operators skin that you personally cannot see that, just your opponent can see it. They are more like totally pointless and useless comparing to a cosmetic in a mainly third person shooter game. At least I can wear a skin I like throughout the journey of those missions in the map and hours with me when playing the game, shooting in third person mode, looking at my cool skin. It is just around 5 bucks for 1, which I can save it for cooking at home for 1 time instead of eating outside which sometimes I am lazy. I am willing to pay for it. I also hate pointless micro transaction, but for those I can see for hours and more, I would think that they worth it.

if the game has pvp like breakpoint, cosmetic bonus will just ruin the game. normal cosmetic is fine. it is just like those moba games, skins are all just skins, no bonus. This makes the game fair, instead of those people who can pay more will have better nightvision, quiter footsteps and can carry more ammo. If it is a solo game mostly, of cuz cosmetic has bonus will be better. It is hard for them to add bonus to weapon skins in breakpoint, cuz still much people playing pvp.

Cheater are ruining the game doesn't mean this game does not have pvp. COD also has campaign and pvp, cheaters everywhere, does that mean cod is a coop or solo game? NO!!!!!!!!! COD also has cool skin and they are completely useless, just cool effect, you wont have higher damage or better scopes. But they are still making more money than the whole ghost recon series.
