Why is the mini-map ALWAYS on?

Its set to dynamic and its always on why?

Click it to were it says None in the options or if you want just a Compass click it to minimum.

I believe it's always on when you have objectives visible ( through pressing TAB ), you should be able to hide it by also hiding objective list.
