Performance
Hey guys, so I bought this game and I’ve been playing for 8 hours and I need help, I have good specs but can’t get over 70 frames. Usually goes around 45-60.
I noticed that when i turn anti-aliasing on I can get +15 fps but the quality of the graphics it’s just disgusting. I got everything on low, only on is fedelityfx and anti-aliasing.

I have a Xeon e5 2640 v3 with 16gb of ram, rx 580 8gb, ssd 240 but i just can’t get those frames. What I already tried:

• Change config on Radeon software but since it’s not a directx 9 application it doesn’t work
• lowering the screen resolution (native 1280x1024) I’ve set to 1280x720 but then it doesn’t let me choose 75hz, so it get very worst almost unplayable.
• disable full screen optimizations (it changes nothing)

I really need some help, if there is a option to turn of the anti-aliasing without making the game look like it’s running on a 2003 pc I would really enjoy it.

Well thats a good point. I only run on 10 because of the drivers. I'll post a screenshot here so you can se the effect that disable anti-aliasing does. I'm not a FPS junk too, but usually when im arround cities the fps drops to 40 so the game experience gets very bad.

I’ve solved it!!
I’ve deleted GRB.exe and created a copy of GRB_vulcan and renamed it as GRB.exe that forces the game to use Vulcan instead of directx. I got a 30+Fps gain in all regions (cities, forests , etc…)

Yep, my game doesnt, as for windows i got lazy, dont want to spend a lot of time making something that does not work 100%. I've tried 7 and 8 but with my processor model its not all 100% compatible. So i've modified a windows 10 image and installed it.

windows 10 is a good operating system and works really well for games and also really well with breakpoint - you might have to modify it a bit - windows 7 was and is the best operating system for games but win 10 is equal and stable
i have no problems no crashes no freezes with win 10
windows 98 was the best

i have win10 and bought breakpoint in steam and before i play breakpoint i start steam after that i always start ubisoft connect, log in and always start the game via ubisoft connect and never in steam - i really haven't had any crashes, freezes or connection problems

kk, I've had good experiences with 98 - you might be right. Win 7 is the best operating system for gaming
