Re-Download Ubisoft Connect NOT WORKING

After removing Breakpoint from my Steam Deck for a month or so to make room for a different game, I tried to redownload the game. Now it is not recognizing Ubisoft Connect. This is similar to an issue I had with WIldlands where it can't load my file after redownloading the game and losing all my progress.

Ubisoft Connect still works on my other games (i.e. Wildlands, Ghost of Tsushima, Division 2 etc) but Breakpoint won't even open.

I tried redownloading the game, redownloading connect the same way I did originally, and I still get the message, "Unable to detect Uplay installation. Please make sure Uplay is installed."

I have looked at different discussions and reddit threads. I am pretty sad because I had about 190 hours and had almost collected all the extra collectibles etc. I am okay losing my save because I just like playing the game. I want to rant but it's just the same complaints everyone has. I really loved this game and I'm just sad. If anyone has any ideas, even if they are likely something I've read, I'm open to help.

I'm not great at desktop mode so there is a chance I am missing something but I got it to work originally and most of the redownloading etc I have used youtube tutorials.

If you like the game, don't delete it! (seems like common sense but oh well)
