Lost Connection To Ubisoft Servers On Startup

Title says it all. I had no issues with the game for days and all of a sudden today it keeps happening.

servers are down apparently, so we all have to wait til it comes back up to play anything ubisoft related because all the titles require connection

Probably just going to brick the game. Since it needs to connect to the official servers, there will be no other way to play the game once they shut the servers down.

I've often played pirated games in the past.
Now I have money to buy games, a 2.5Gb fiber connection...but I can't play.
