You could play FarCry 3 offline. You cannot play Breakpoint offline even when doing single player. If the servers shut down without Ubisoft releasing an offline patch, the game is gone.
SaviorAngel is correct. You should smack your face a little more.
Lol, why did you delete your spam of posts?
I agree that you have no clue how this works. This has nothing to do with co-op, which you keep bringing up for some reason (before you deleted all your posts). You cannot play the game at all without a connection. Even if you want to play single player, you cannot if you're not connected to the Ubisoft servers.
Turn off your internet and try to play the single player game. You cannot. Now turn on the internet and set Ubisoft Connect to Offline mode and try to play the single player game. You cannot.
Now start playing normally (internet on, Ubisoft Connect online) and after loading into a single player game, turn off the internet. What happens? The game kicks you out after a few minutes. You cannot play a single player game without connecting continuously to Ubisofts' servers. I don't know why you refuse to recognize this simple fact when it's one of the most common complaints on these boards. If Ubisoft shuts off the servers, goes bankrupt, etc. without releasing a patch that allows you to play the game offline, then the game is gone and you will never be able to play the game again.
Yeah, I think most people don't care, which is fine if they don't. My priorities aren't their priorities. But RMJ definitely has a willful ignorance about it, and is spouting incorrect information. It's also hilarious that he keeps referencing his years in the industry or how long he's been playing games. Like that matters at all.
Wildlands was always playable offline. I bought this game assuming it was the same and was irritated when it was always online.
I haven't heard anything about an Offline mode for this game, but I don't really follow Ubisoft news. Would be cool if they did patch that in.
I feel less alone even in single player game
