cannot play gamne linked to another account
used a random account as i dont like signing up with my normal email. lostthat account and now it wont even let me play the game....a game i PAID for... ubisoft never ceases to dissapoint. any ways past this?

i exprience this last time but i remembered my account password... just log out from uplay, and try relogin

if you forget what password u use, at least u remember what email u used to register..
i use same steam email and try forget password to reset

He lost the account email for his Ubisoft account. Buying direct from Ubisoft wouldn't have fixed anything if he lost the email associated with the account. Do you even read any of the threads you reply in?

And for the record, Steam is the 3rd party. The first party is the developer/publisher of the game (Ubisoft). The 2nd party is the customer. Steam is the "unnecessary" 3rd party coming between the developer and consumer.

For the OP: you can contact Ubisoft support if you lost your account info. They will ask a bunch of questions that you may or may not be able to answer. If you can prove the account was yours, they'll set up your account with a new email. I had the same issue you did when my junk email account was locked out because of hackers. I lost several games with that account because customer service didn't believe all my pictures of the boxes with serial keys were real (yes, it was that long ago).

Lesson learned. I now rarely buy any Ubisoft games. If I do it's only at a 75% or higher discount, and always on steam so they lose an additional 20-30%. Some fun games, but a crap company.

I just explained the LOGICAL way to do it.

I use different emails for Steam and Ubisoft.

He lost the email associated with Ubisoft. If he bought the game directly from them he still wouldn't have access to it because he lost the account info.
