Can't play Ghost War

I have just bought the game and was trying to play the PVP gamemode Ghost War. However I was unable to play due to ''not connected to Ubisoft servers'' after ''detecting network settings''. This seems to be untrue since my friends are able to join my lobby. Anyone have any ideas to why this might be happening?

This wouldn't be true had they actually supported it. It was extremely popular at launch. Could get into games in less than a couple seconds.

Disabling windows defender didnt seem to fix the issue. Thanks for trying tho
