Can't jump out of Choppers!!??

What do I have to do to get out of a chopper in the air? No really. I can't figure it out. I have pressed pretty much any keys on my board and ... Well ♥♥♥♥ me.

Yes I have. Nothing happens when I press the exit vehicle key. If I land I can exit just fine. In the air? Not so much. I'm at a loss.

Might be the flight height, if you´re flying too low you can´t jump out, if you´re high enough holding the Enter/Exit key should always work tho - high enough should be starting somewhere ~40-60 meters above whatever you´re flying over usually

Well, OMG! I feel like such a noob. I have a couple of different chars cos I want to try different styles of play. The one char, I say again, the ONE char I tried to jump out of heli with, did not have the para skill enabled. You can't see it but I did an actual facepalm. And I'm wearing glasses so you can imagine how well that went. Anyhow, Thank you for trying to help an actual idiot. Love from Norway.
