Can't launch from Steam?

Well, this is new. I am now not able to launch the game. I have updated all drivers, run as admin and uninstalled/reinstalled. No luck...anyone else have this issue and have a remedy?

Dude I've just now started getting the same issue. I click launch, "Ubisoft Games Launcher" pops up in the task manager for like 2 seconds, then disappears and the game stops launching on steam. I've tried so many options and stuff people have recommended online and nothing. I'm slamming my head against a wall trying to figure this out. Gotta love Ubisoft games huh.

I have this issue too, Windows 10 did have a update today. I would like to believe it had to do something with that.

Do you mean it's the servers' fault? Because I was playing yesterday, but it's just today that it won't let me continue playing.

i played earlier today as well, logged off for a bit then came back and it wouldn't launch, i think its server side since i reinstalled and did everything on the troubleshooting side.

I was in game earlier, as well, but really briefly. Had to restart my pc for a different issue, but when I rebooted the game wouldn't launch at all. Tried the usual troubleshooting stuff/everything i could find online. Waiting for a fresh install at the moment. If it doesn't fix it I'm just gonna give up for now and chalk it up to Ubisoft being Ubisoft.

Well dang...I was hoping someone would have a quick fix. I have tried everything I know to do...I submitted a ticket with Ubisoft. We'll see what they say. Please stop by and post if you manage to get yours fixed...I will do the same. Thanks everyone!

I hope that's it, although it's still strange that it simply doesn't start, since if the servers fail the best thing would be to be able to play offline at least.

I thought maybe the new nvidia driver update today broke something. But nope, it's definitely something with Steam. I installed the game direct from the Ubisoft launcher and I can play it from there just fine...

it was working an hour ago, restarted pc and now it wont launch. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ company.
