mouse issues
my mouse is moving on its own for some reason, and its making breakpoint borderline unplayable

Frequently a connected joystick issue or maybe stuck key on keyboard.
Try unplugging any unnecessary USB stuff.
Try a different mouse or calibrate/uninstall reinstall your mouse and keyboard.
Verify game and if you've changed the key bindings, reset and start over again.

Are you using a generic mouse or a Microsoft mouse? If you are they are known to have run away cursor issues. I used to have them when I had a Microsoft mouse and my character would spin around...

I'd listen to LiMpY's advice. You can try HidHide program to hide all USB gaming devices and then launch the game to see if it fixes the problem. If so, then it's probably some kind of device like a steering wheel, a joystick, gamepad, pedals, etc, that is being read by the game as a controller.

A lot of games have this problem. Which is no excuse, it's not that hard to fix it on their side... They just don't.
