What happens after Ubi shuts servers in future?
Game will be gone? unplayable? same case as crew 2? I'm thinking of buying breakpoint but this online only holds me back I l like the game which is why I prefer gold edition

will ubi at least make campaign playable after servers are closed?

You will lose access to the game. Dont fool yourself into thinking you own the game. You are paying a fixed fee to rent the game for a undisclosed amount of time.

I really loved trial I found BP more immersive than WL
but they will remove access? I guess no buy for me then :(

Ubisoft have done so with their other games. Some of the games are offline only. But for some reason you had to verify and download DLC in the game. And they shut down those servers. So if you owned those DLCs you can no longer access them.
Does Wildlands have this problem too? I liked it a few years back and was considering buying the DLC for it

Are Wildlands and Breakpoints PvP communities active?

6$ for rent isnt that bad really, if you can get 24+ hours at least of playtime, thats your rents worth.... other instances of paying rent, you would be homeless lol.

DO not believe the misinformation!
UBI only removes PVP-coop servers= yes the games that have only PVP will be lost. They never remove single player games. Even when they remove the coop servers this game will still work single player, it just has to connect to UBI. The last game they removed coop for was FC 3, it still works single player.

That's not even the point mate I have no issues with connecting to Ubisoft everytime I launch game on Steam (I'm already used to that)

Far cry 3 was and still be played offline entire campaign they just turned off online features they didn't revoke your access from library straight!

Breakpoint is in same place as crew (online only) and I hope you already know controversies of crew
So the consensus if that, before closing servers, they will likely switch breakpoint to offline with online verification?

it's on sales for 6€, so even if they close the server in one or two years, still more durable than a beer on a pub !

Know how stuff works!
The Crew also had single player campaign aspect why was it revoked from library? why not remove online aspect and still be able to play single player campaign?
They probably won't shut down the server until at least after the release of a new Ghost Recon game + time between announcement and shutdown. We do know there's a new one in production thanks to leaks, but not very advanced yet, so it'll be mid-2026 at the earliest, and if you add half a year shut down time to that, you're looking at early-2027 at the earliest.

But there's a good chance Ubisoft remembers the backlash after The Crew and will give it the same treatment as The Crew 2 and Motorfest of simply making an offline availability update.
