But if you are talking about the Terminator pistol the issue is that attachment isn't a scope but a laser, its a movie prop so I guess the designer never cared about how a laser on top like that would get in the way of aiming the real weapon.
I'll make it public in case someone else searches this odd thing.

It's one of the guns that the Terminator steals from the Gun Store, and it has a prototype optical laser on it, not a scope.
The "scope" is the actual laser pointer as the prop used to project the laser had to be super large and bulky, as lasers weren't compact at all back when the movie came out.
Why they mounted it above the sights is weird but logical, the gun would have looked super weird with the large laser slung under the frame.
No, closest is the Survival Desert Eagle, but it only has a red dot (tiny magnification if any) and the red dot suffers from the same as all the optics in the game, no deglossed glass so once the sun or any light source shines from behind the player, the lens reflects the light and the optic becomes unusable, flooded with bright light reflections.
