Game starts default with Vulkan, you want to switch that to DirectX asap. Probably in the advanced graphic options. If you have a Nvidia GPU that should fix the crashes.
I still don't understand why you are still roaming these Ubi forums. Your ''private ID'' on Ubi is linked to your account and is publicly available. Removing your savegame is the last resort, and wouldn't work with Steam and Ubi storing your save file in the cloud. What OP can do is start a new save (you have 3 or 5 slots I believe) and test to see if that crashes, just so you can exclude a corrupt savegame. But don't tell him to blatanly start deleting gamefiles that are unrelated to his problem.
- You can ''move'' your local save file all you want, the cloud will restore the save file anyway.
- You just meant to make a backup of your saves. That's oke, i still stick to the fact that the game gives you free save slots so you can just ''test'' a new save anytime without messing with the files.
- So you meant ''move'' and not ''remove'' which means delete.
- Give me your Ubi account name and i'll give you your Ubi ID. It's the same as your SteamID, it might be your private ID but it's not a secret or hidden at all.
I don't mind you trying to help, but the amount of confidence you have spewing your nonsense is hilarious and embarrassing at the same time.
Are you having a stroke bruv?
Almost everything you said is false, again. You even manage to contradict yourself within one paragraph, kudos for that. Takes a special breed.
and the second option, gotta go to your installed directory and change the file, just a reminder.
Here's the know-how
on your Steam Library
1. Right click on the of the game
2. There should be a new dropdown, Find Properties, it'll open a new window
3. Click on Installed Files
4. Click on Browse...
5. it should direct you to the installed files
the files should be found on this folder
...\Ghost Recon Breakpoint\
Just saying that, that's not the hill you want to die on, dudes been like that ever since the forums existed.
You failed to block me but you did remove (<-delete) some posts that showed how clueless you really were. Oh sweet irony.
I bought the game on Steam. When i choose to start the game in DirectX, Ubisoft apperently still launches the game in Vulkan. I had to change application name so Ubisoft thinks its launching it in Vulkan when it actually starts with DirectX.
I changed the application file name GRB_DirectX to ---> GRB_Vulkan
And i changed the GRB_Vulkan to ----> GRB_Vulkan.old
Now it starts up every time
