Also, where are the civilians? Game feels like Tarkov.
The game takes place in a privately owned secret island in the middle of nowhere that was taken over by militarized forces, that means you won't find many civilians roaming around in the open, its mostly scientists working in labs or rebels hidden away.
However some missions are exceptionally hard if you alert the entire base especially when playing on max difficulty, so it is something to be mindful of.
it was one of the things this game got better, it matters where you shoot even when in stealth.
some aspects re different nd good .. idk but there's something about breakpoint, xp level gear level up, modifying n leveling up the guns n all that .. even has T-800 terminator mode lol, even tomb raider ( LARA Croft ) secret task, SAM FISHER in it too, drones, behmoth n all that are great, gear leveling up xp n that powerup ♥♥♥♥ is almost feel like DIVISION 1 game .. so I like both of em but more of breakpoint
I'll just say that once you get hooked by the story of breakpoint things do start making a lot of sense and you also start appreciating Auroa in a similar fashion as you appreciated Bolivia in Wildlands, its a different atmosphere to be enveloped by threats at every corner but it opened up the game for some real challenges.
Armored enemies and them not really being injured or temporarily incapacitated by direct hits makes things feel a bit cheap in firefights, so I just aim for heads or nothing now basically.
I almost just want to go back to playing with gear score/loot on just to compare and see if the game feels more cohesive, because I'm trying to play it tactically and realistically but it often just doesn't feel meant for it. I might as well just make it like an action looter-shooter if it works better and not be so hesitant to trade shots with enemies.
It's unrealistic to think a shot to a leg is insta kill. In fact, there are times you need to shoot them in the leg and bring them down for interrogations, I guess it would be more real if you could incapacitate (not kill) all enemies with a leg shot to take them out of the fight.
