FPS drop

i suffered FPS dropped and it stuck around 10-15fps after going to pause menu..

how can i fix this?

my pc specs is in my profile if it help

limit ur fps should be on 125

I had this exact same issue frequently, after trying a lot of things the only solution that fixed it completely was moving away from Vulkan back to DX11.

Never happened again.

Right click on the game on steam, properties, on launch options you can select between vulkan or dx11.

And us that use AMD gpus have no issues with vulhan. I would never use an AMD cpu, but I would never touch a Nvidea either. The reason you are proably reading this is one of the many reasons why.

idk, vulkan in rdr2 is running fabulously. it doesnt matter what cpu and gpu u pair but ofcourse you can utilize SAM with AMD cpu and gpu alltogether but not that much of a performance boost.

it is the game problem. you should remind yourself that we are talking about ubisoft game

RDR2 is a BOX port. And that is like compairing Vhs VIdeo to 4k. huge difference.

nah, any other vulkan API game run fine with me, stop fanboying the game, when the thing only happened when i return from the pause menu. it is totallly a bug from the game

Turning HDR off and on fixes this for me

if you set terrain quality to high it shouldnt happen, works for me
