In deep waters quest no intel to read??

Not sure if I'm an idiot, but I can't start the "In deep Waters" quest to kill Kraken. I'm stuck on the consult target's intel, but I can't find where to open unread intel. No map ping no nothing. Went to bivouacs to see if Mitchell will give quest, but didn't work. Tried searching up on other sites but no luck on the same issue. Do I have to restart the entire red patriot dlc or something? Thanks in advance!

Make sure to read the quest to know what to do next, some bivuouac quests only unlock at night.

Game kind of poorly introduces it in its hulu-@ss menu. Go to the "objectives" screen from the icon in the top of the pause menu, then use WASD to manually scroll downward, clicking on the relevant photos should take you through to "opening" or "reading" the intel. Hopefully thats the issue.

I believe Jack is correct. Once you read the intel the next part should pop up. Too bad it doesn't just skip to the next objective without reading the intel but that's just crazy talk.

Tried Jack's suggestion, it didn't work. Manually scrolled down with WASD in objectives menu and clicked Kraken's mission/picture multiple times, even clicking "B" for target info, and nothing works. Was able to read/consult other intel files though.

Ironically I hadn't done this mission at the time of the original post. You'll have to switch to the episode 3 tab, then hover over the kraken guy in the menu. For some reason the intel is directly in this popup. Did it about 10 minutes ago. Not sure why Ubi is too stupid to have consistency between menus.

Interesting, it's still not working, unless I'm misinterpreting your instructions? If I hover over the other 9 targets, I see the intel button, but not for Kraken.

I sent a ticket to Ubisoft the other day to see if it's a me-only problem lol
