What is the location for the save game files?

I would like to backup the save games but have no idea where they are located. Anyone know where they are stored?

If you're playing the game on Uplay Connect then RMJ's post (above) is the answer, but you might be right, for Steam they may be held sever side. I have no idea.

Both steam and UBI are saved on PC. Only When you allow CLOUD saves are they saved both PC and servers. I create a new game Plus save as I call it for games that do not have it Like wildlands. To remove the grinding BS for when I do a replay. So you have to disable CLOUD save and remove another hidden file. To use an older save- backup. Just gotta be smarter then them. Breakpoint allows you to buy weapons and choppers with "G" game $ so they basicly added an odd way of new game + as long as you do not waste the "G" money on silly stuff like outfits ...... I bought weapons - Parts - chopper. After I did alot of testing to find out what I really liked - wanted on replays.

The folder "Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<id>\62412" does contain some save files, but I have only one character and there are two files.

Thanks for the location appreciate it. Here is another "Slow Clap".Unfortunately I am unable to comment on the "two files" situation because my Ubisoft drive crashed recently and I have not had a chance to replace it. Should be soon. Thanks for the reply,

Worth noting that progression is indeed server side, so I'm kind of not sure what those files even do.

Also, PC Wiki states that files are located in"<Ubisoft-Connect-folder>\savegames\<user-id>\11903\", but I do not have such folder and I have only one Ubisoft game installed at the moment. There is also a guide that explains how to change language and it refers to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Ubisoft\Launcher\Installs\
62412" in the registry, so I believe 62412 is the correct game id, at least if you bought it on Steam.

Breakpoint doesnt have "Save Files" like Wildland.The Files in the Ubi Savegame Folder for Breakpoint are just saves for Settings I believe

Thanks for the input, and not to be argumentative but I'm pretty sure it does have backup files. I was making backups of my game before my drive crashed. I sure wish my drive had not crashed because I could then post with some certainty but as is I'm pretty sure the answer I marked as answering my post is correct. Thanks for the help anyway.

Bro i played the trial version on ubisoft connect and then decided to buy it and now when i replace the files in 62412 and start the game the game says " Your profile has become corrupted; your options will be reset. Your game progress will not be affected. "

Sorry. It's been too many months and too many games since I last played and backed up Ghost Recon. I looked around my file explorer to see if I could find it but was unable to. Hopefully someone else will read your thread and give you some help on the subject.
