Anyone else feel like this game is both good, and boring at the same time?

So I don't own the game on Steam, I have it on Uplay, but naturally there's no forum on Uplay. Anyway, It feels like everytime I load up the game, I find some enjoyment from the mechanics of the game, but the actual world traversal, and going to a point of interest is unbelievably boring. I think it is because in Wildlands we had rebel support, which I liked using to spot enemies inside buildings, or to summon in a vehicle real quick. This game has neither of those, and you always have to open up a bivouac to get a vehicle spawned in, which wastes time, as well as having to either go in the building to find an enemy, or relying on the AI teammates to spot.
I feel like if the bivouacs were more like a rally point in Wildlands, which had vehicles already spawned in, that'd alleviate a little bit of the games problems with world traversal. As far as not being boring though, they need more time saving aspects in this game, like spotting instead of droning, bivouacs having vehicles already spawned in, or even just a tool, like the grappling hook from Just Cause, to make traversal quicker.

ubisoft has thing with progressing and regressing at the same time, they couldve expanded on the safe houses from wildlands, but nah we get bivouacs because of the theme of being "behind enemy lines". we couldve had "outcast support" too but they only serve as being a plot device in the story.

Yeah, I kinda feel the same even though I haven't played Wildlands. This is why I only do 1 or 2 objectives and then I'm off to play something else before the boredom settles in.

Yeah. Its a good time killer, not overly engaging, and its also infuriating at the same time. I'm bored after about an hour.

What ♥♥♥♥♥ me most it the absolute junk mechanics of the game. The running and climbing sucks, the entry into vehicles is also piss poor. The weapon wheel of grenades etc sucks as well. The amount of times ive got stuck in places i cant get out of is growing daily too. IOts not a game that gets better thats for sure.

I find the game annoying and boring.

Annoying cuz the movement is ass, the drones are cancer and the UI is atrocious
Boring cuz the combat is just plain boring. Its just popping braindead AI as they wander around aimlessly. Or being over run by a mass of enemies when killing 1 guy sets off the whole world.

the way you try to play the game stealthy, but it always devolves into a standard FPS battle, just with way clunkier controls and horrid movement.

right now my ubi connect also stopped working, i cannot login after restarting it. i guess its a yearly thing some parts of their servers crap themselves.

I certainly agree... Most of the areas are just copied and pasted, that's why it is boring... I can't stand those futuristic structure (buildings) everywhere.

The game can be rather boring real fast especially when you are bouncing around the map doing the missions.

I just think there is too much scifi ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ going on, I don't mind a few drones there and there but like this? Wildlands was way better in that aspect, and in terms of the world, just wish there was a version of Wildlands with Breakpoint mechanics and graphics, world is too big but yet too boring and all the same, story was also better in Wildlands for me

It was meant to be a looter. So when they removed those items there are a lot of empty elements.

Yeah same happens to me with Assassin's Creed or other Ubisoft games.
They have some good core ideas, then ♥♥♥♥ it up by adding 100000000000 useless things to collect over the world. Eventually they run out of ideas + the AI is garbage.
