I don't have shop option for weapons

So, I can't buy or sell weapons in the shop, neither in the beuvac nor the Mary's shop.
I just don't have the wepons tab. Even weirder is that my friend, who has joined my game CAN buy/sell wepons... Is there a setting I have fiddled with by mistake?
I can't change weapons either, becuase it tells me I don't have the blueprints...even for the weapons I have found in-game...

Hi buddy,
it sounds like you are new to the game. In breakpoint, you can pick up a weapon on-the-fly but it doesn't give you the blueprint - you can't change it then change back to it (in the Bivouacs). There are 2 kinds of weapon crates in the game: weapon and blueprint. The Blueprint box does not immediately give you the weapon, you have to go to a bivouac and then craft it in the crafting menu if you are not in immersive mode (sounds like you are in 'gear score' mode - non-immersive), and that requires weapon parts (pieces). You are forced to level up all your individual pieces of gear (clothing items & weapons) in that mode.

About the buying of blueprints: that's not done with the "weapon change" button in the Bivouac menu. You must click on "shop" then "build weapons" which is the pistol icon on the top of that screen. And, you may only have it in "any" bivouac when you have "shop at bivouac (story mode)" turned on in the default tab (at the bottom) in the settings menu under "social & bivouacs." That "(story mode)" may mean that in gear score mode you have to either find the blueprint boxes or buy only in the shop at Erewon. Sorry I don't remember that menu to help you but would look later if you still need help.

Another option is find a friend who knows the game, play it coop with him and talk via voice chat so he can help you find the option. I've found that the best way is to use a private server channel in Discord and stream it to your buddy so he can watch your screen to help guide you - it's what I do quite often with my best buddy. That said, it may be a bit moot. Beginning a couple days ago we've been having server connection issues (see the big 'STUCK ON CONNECTING SCREEN' thread). I've been watching Downdetector (Ghost Recon), and testing myself, and it appears to only be a problem on peak periods: in particular the evenings. This tells me the problem is probably that Ubisoft has cut their server expenses with the Wildlands & Breakpoint games, meaning that now the capacity is not enough for peak periods any more (they have regional servers, you would play using one in your region). This is terrible news to me, I think it means I won't be able to play the game any more on most of my evenings. I hope you have better luck. :(

I am new to breakpoint, yes, but that was is not my problem. I simply don't have the weapon icon in my shop menu (but my co-op friend has). I have all the other icons, but not the weapon one.

My friend sent me a pic and my shop IS missing the wepon icon. All the other icons are the same.

I'm not certain that gear score mode has the icon, I haven't played gear score in years and my character was wiped by a Ubi bug that keeps restarting char1 from the beginning on launch if "enable cloud save synchronization for supported games" is turned on in Ubisoft connect, and it keeps resetting that to ON

I think maybe I was fooled by the fact that the people I play with use gear score and I don't. If thats the case I am happy again... hehe

Hi, i sent friend request for chatting with you. Seems that you understand the immersive mode (im playing there). I dont understand how the blueprints works here!. I thing i dismantled everything and now i cant use those weapons anymore! :C
