Controller Issues

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about why my buttons don't seem to work. They work intermittently and sometimes the functions for them change i'm trying to get into the game but this makes it very hard to do that. TIA

This is one of those games that turn off one input device when you use the other, so it's possible there's a little mouse jittering or such involved?

There's an option in the game to enable mixed inputs. As much as I loathe the company, Ubi is pretty good about at least non-mixed controller support, it should work flawlessly in this and any other of their games I can think of.

Do check steam's controller options, see if it's doing anything fancy. Disabling steam input should work fine here.

I play with an 8bitdo controller just fine using Steam controller input.

I had the same issue but I was able to fix the issue by plugging my controller in while in game

I have tried just about every thing to get my set up to work and still nothing. this game looks so awesome but for some reason i cant get my controler xbox elite 2 or my mouse to work

anyone ever find a fix to this issue im having the same thing. i had the game on epic but i got it for steam recently to save storage with launchers (long story) if anyone knows a fix it would be many appreciated

this issue also plagued wildlands and they still havent fixed it

enabled steam input kinda fixes the issue for me but not quite

you can also fix it by plugging your controller into the pc via usb but who wants to play wired these days
