I'm using mods and ubi couldn't care since they've ditched this game.
In a supposed offline mode, you could play the game and have Cheat Engine on your system without fear or triggering anti-cheat systems (although I don't think anti-cheat systems scan your whole PC, just the running processes and modules). Then, users could mod the game without getting banned in Breakpoint (and possibly other games, if it's an account-wide ban).
But knowing UBI and seeing how they didn´t provide any patch for single player content not being available anymore after they shut down other games servers yeah this game will probably simply cease to exist.
Also offline mode would make first person mode possible, that was a game changer in Wildlands.
So yeah it´s utterly annoying that this game doesn´t have an offline mode.
and regarding piracy, cmon this game is already years on the market, piracy in this case would just assure game preservation.
Fun game, but I left a negative review for the online-only aspect of it. At least Wildlands could be played Offline.
I would have got this game while waiting for Starfield if it had an offline mode.
You can set your game to not launch with Battle eye. Thats what i did in order to use Spartan Mod
