Crash & Stutter Check Here
If you guys using Nvidia Driver 531.18 or 531.29 at the moment you'll probably gonna end up crash or stuttering cause there is a bug within the driver that make your cpu spike.

https://www.tomshardware.com/news/nvidia-latest-drivers-increase-cpu-usage-after-closing-games

It's better if you rollback your driver to 528.24 or use the lastest HotFix driver 531.26 from here

Thanks for the tip. Didn't work for me but oddly this string of start parameters does.

-novid -tickrate 128 -high +fps_max 0 +cl_showfps 0 +cl_interp 0 +cl_interp_ratio 1 +rate 128000 +cl_updaterate 128 +cl_cmdrate 128 +mat_queue_mode 2 -freq 240 -refresh 240 +cl_forcepreload 1 -nod3d9ex -nojoy

Not sure why.

try clean install the nvidia hotfix driver if the update not working for you

I did a clean install of the current driver then when I had seen your post I did the hot fix over the top. I guess I'll try it totally clean of the hot fix.

Update: Working now. Still get the micro stutters but over all good. Thanks

Cool, try turn on vsync and lock your framerate for better frametime. Cheers and have fun :)

Why you put csgo parameter to breakpoint though? I'm pretty sure this does nothing, but if it helps, then it's good.

Came from here:
https://www.easytutorial.com/increase-fps-steam-games-pc.html

Ultimately I used the Nvidia latest hot fix and that fixed the problem.

Did a rollback and all good but for whatever reason the fps are down to 60 for me
Oby47 Mar 15, 2023 @ 10:50am
Using the in game counter (press F1) for FPS and cpu% usage and so forth, I had seen something interesting. The CPU, FPS and GPU would all drop at the same time regardless what was on the screen even at the lowest setting.

Using the regedit from this video I was able to stabilize the CPU.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hoxXrXjJp20

Changing my power plan to normal I stabilized my GPU. Now they both just don't drop for no reason. Now for some reason Vulcan works again. Nvidia v528.24

Sorry about my english... I have the nvidia drivers 531.29, and evertime i open the game in MAX preset video i get 20 fps and crash my game. I have update it to 531.41 and i get back my fps (80 ~ 100), but is still crashing...
I just install 528.24 and my game still crashing in MAX preset =`/

Ryzen 7 5800X3D
RTX 3070 TI AORUS EDITION
32GB RAM
SSD 1TB NVME

EDIT:

I guess found the problem!
I just still in MAX preset, but one option in particular i select just HIGH i guess in english pronunce is: Volumetric Fog...
My FPS still worth in 90~110 and no more crashing =D

If anyone else has a Ryzen CPU, try the fix listed here.
https://community.amd.com/t5/general-discussions/how-to-improve-gaming-performance-by-disabling-hpet-settings/m-p/509616

Helped remove the stuttering i was getting every 3 seconds. Originally I was able to get the stuttering to stop after moving the game installation to a different drive, but that no longer works.

I am not aware of any issues that disabling the HPET device in Device Manager, but I'll update if I notice anything on my machine.

Hi My Game keeps crashing every time, post clicking on my character and logging into the world. It works for 10-15 sec and it crashes. I have tried the driver fix mentioned in pinned comment however it doesn't work for me as I keep getting the crashes. My rig consists of Ryzen 7 5700x, RTX 3060, 16gbs of RAM. Any solutions would be really good at this point.

Any error information in Event Viewer under Windows Logs -> Application
around the times you have crashed?

Well for me game will boot sometimes to main menu but most of the time my whole system just locks up at the loading screen!

Does the same on vulkan and dx11.
