So base game I get no AI Teammates but *Ultimate* Edition I do? Is that how it works? Or did they just eventually add in the AI Teammates into base game?
PS. I'm still watching the video of gameplay; maybe he just doesnt know about the Teammates just yet idk.
Thanks
Kind of sums up Breakpoint vs Wildlands. One is better for gameplay, the other is better for immersion.
I do not share your description. Coop with the right people is always 'fun' - no matter how good or bad the actual game is.
Yet, playing solo, the game is not 'boring AF' to me.
It is an Action/Adventure RPG with stealth, tactics, strategy, gadgets and guns. I like to play at my own pace. The main game loop is 'liberating' outposts much like a puzzle game.
I can recon, decide to go stealth, solo, use only a knife and do CQC at night ... or use NPC team mates during day time and clean out areas going loud. Even calling down satellite drone strikes. The skill system and gadgets allow for multiple, mixed tactical approaches.
Every game can feel 'boring' if you play too much of it - or it does not fit YOUR (personal) expectations. It is not a qualifier beyond any personal taste.
