In general it's best if you reach out to Steam Support.
When you launch the game please ensure you are logged into Ubisoft Connect. This will link and allow you to launch the game, we do not provide keys.
Should you have any trouble, just let us know.

Hey HEAVYDIAO
If you own the game on Steam, your Steam account must be linked to an Ubisoft account, and you must also have Ubisoft Connect installed on your PC.
Is the error occurring when you launch the game on Steam?
If it's a Steam version you own, you'll only be able to launch this through the Steam launcher itself and not Ubisoft Connect.
I hope that clears up any confusion.
Let me know if there are any other issues at all :)

NONE of these recommendation work. No wonder this game failed. It came from idiots.
Ubisoft games purchased on Steam do not require an activation key (in vast majority).
A digital license is pushed to your Ubisoft account when you launch the game in Steam for the first time, and link it to the Ubisoft account.
Once activated this way, the game cannot be activated on another Ubisoft account.
A key is not needed for ant further activation attempts.

The solution is to tell the app to remember your login, then to cancel out of the Ubisoft launcher and close the game. Then launch the game from Steam again and it will log you in automatically, preventing the redirect bug. Enjoy your game from there, and if the launcher ever asks for a login again just repeat the same process and it'll work until the next invalidation. By my anecdotal evidence it seems you can go about a year before needing to log in again.
Ubisoft: Fix your login process to respect Steam launches by storing any launch options and credentials Steam passes to your launcher! When completing a log in cycle, read the stored variables and retry the launch automatically, rather than shoving us to a generic game activation screen and breaking the auto-launch!
Is this happening with the new Ubisoft Client downloaded from it's official website or with a client that downloads with the game via Steam automatically?
The one that downloads with the game can be outdated.

The client that pushes through Steam. I haven't ever loaded the client manually on this PC.
This one has a very good chance of being outdated and not working correctly any more.
Please download a new version from - https://ubi.li/YVY0k
Launch both, Steam and UC clients as administrator.
