Even though they could easily make this playable offline, they didn't and they won't. The community missed their chance to pressure ubisoft into fixing this and now we all have to live with the fact this game is on borrowed time.

Oh no, they didn't missed it at all. Ubisoft even acknowledged it in the game's first year, until they deemed it's too much of a nuisance to add in an offline mode. Not their exact wording to cancel it, of course, but may as well be.

They had no intention of adding offline play, they just did all the "survey" bs to make it seem like they cared about consumers.

ubishaft has proven they don't on countless occasions. i uninstalled the game and ubi connect ages ago.

supposedly there is a new game in the works but probably not due till 2024 or 2025.

will it have offline play? probably not if ubi's current thinking is anything to go by.

but i'm sure gamers will still lap it up and make it seem popular and ubi will keep making sh*t games.

if it does allow offline play, well great but i'm not betting on it.

exactly, very stupid from Ubi not to have made it possible to play offline with the final patch they released.
they already said no more patches will come for this game so that´s it, the day they decide to shut down servers (and that day will come) - bye bye Breakpoint, all gone and lost forever.

I bought the Breakpoint on Sale today until I learned it was Online only so I went for Refund. Screw it, what happens if your internet is out? You can't play Breakpoint. Has OOBEEHARD not thought about that? After learning what they did to The crew? I back out on Breakpoint. I am not buying any games that is online only. There are some situations that people go places that has laptop and want to play it offline. They don't want Wifi in Hotels to ruin their achievements getting disconnected all the time. Bad move on OOBEEHARD.
