Late Game Mission Bug (Possible Spoilers Ahead)

So I'm just gonna fill some space here so that people previewing the post can't complain about spoilers, even though it's honestly not likely that they'll spoil very much.

Okay so: In the mission SAM Security, we're supposed to escort some SAM-carrying trucks, right?
The problem is, they keep running into Seeker wreckage, which is indestructible, and they can't get over. So they're just sort of stuck and the mission isn't progressing. What do?

throw bombs at the truck when it gets to second downed drone, it moves the truck. Make sure to have full bombs and stuff to make them, worked for me

got through this mission first time with no problems. earlier in the game i had to restart a few times on the hospital strikepoint coz the boxes of supplies wouldnt fall from the windows after shooting the containers but that was the only big bug i came across.

If the SAM trucks get stuck, here is a few things to do that MIGHT help:

1. Wait, most times the npc driver will reverse and go forward back and forth and sooner or later get through whatever it's stuck on. If the driver isn't doing this after a few minutes and just driving forward then yeah likely they are 100% stuck.

2. Grab a motorcycle and ram the side of the truck. Don't ram at full speed as this will likely damage your bike and kill you. Just ram it softly on the side and will push the truck a bit. This helped me many times especially when they drove over seekers.

3. Run ahead of the convoy and clear the way. I found at the start of the mission just run pass the convoy to the first ambush area. By doing this the enemy will focus towards you and move closer to your position which means you can easily bait them away from the convoy path preventing the trucks from getting stuck on seekers or dead soldiers. Repeat this process until the SAM trucks reach their destination. Note: Grab any friendly npcs with you to help speed up the clearing process, just grab the 3 guys near start (1 is usually always a rocket user) and run...DON'T WAIT FOR THEM as they can spawn ontop of you if you get too far away from them. This again will speed up the killing process which gives you some time to try and push any wreckage off the road by using a motorcycle or melee/explosvies. Repeat

Again I found just running ahead and clearing the path the easiest, if the truck did randomly get stuck just grab the motorcycle and ram it a bit and should be fine. Good luck.

i got one unstuck but the second one had done a full 180 and was now backing into the seeker debris, i just cant get it to work

I finished the story today, doing this mission first time round just a little while ago. I just waited, the NPC drivers sat there for a while, but then reversed and ♥♥♥♥ and drove over the top of them.

Finished. When first truck stops at destination, second truck has difficulty moving. Just quit, quit game, turn computer off, go ouside and marvel at the sky, go back,turn computer back on ,restart game and resume mission. Second truck should be moving.

a short summary about the status of this bug:

First thing you can try, is to load the oldest savegame via the main menu of the game.
If the error still occurs after loading a different save, you can just wait, for a fix.
The bug will be fixed in the next update, if you don't want to wait for the patch 1.6, you can try these workarounds:

Thanks for letting us know, NOTHING has been able to fix it for me so I've just been waiting for 2-3 weeks - any ETA on the 1.6 patch?

I got passed it, took me a while, but what I did was the following:
I pushed the larger crate (on the left of the seeker) between the truck and the immovable seeker when the truck was moving back. Took me a while but after that both trucks were able to move forward

late Game mission bug stil lthere.. The devs need to remove all the perma objects from the map to fix this bug.. I had to foruce *destrutable* objects under the trucks just to get them to go around the perma objects on the path..

I had alot of amored cars wrecks on my way as I blew those up. the sams just pushed those 2-3 times and went through them. def went alot smoother for me that mission compare to first time I played that mission where they did get stuck.

they just need to remove the perma objects off the trucks path... Problem solved
