I have cheap map and treasure map but it says I have no maps. Am I doing something wrong?
I just got the game, and have no clue where to sail after I leave the port. I open the atlas and it says I have no maps. But when I go into any chest and it shows my inventory, I see the cheap map and the treasure map. Are they their own thing and I'm missing something or is it a bug? I've checked all over the starting port for someone to sell me a map but cant find anyone. Still hyped to play but just having navigation issues.

I think you have to use them from your inventory. It's what I have to do.

Add them to your atlas. Do that by selecting them in your inventory and down below the option should be there. Then you click that option.
