How do i get him into the town without alerting the guards. the last time i made it to the bank the door was locked and i couldn't complete the quest

Late at night the guards inside the gate leading to the jungle go to bed. Then you just have to dodge the patrolling guards on your way to the bank. One thing you might try, though this usually works when sneaking in a town solo and I don't know if it will with this guy following you, is going into an unoccupied house and waiting until day after entering at night. There's still patrolling guards around but they're less likely to start talking to you during the day. Except the ones at the jungle gate and the dock. They usually will talk to you.
